This USB RFID module can be used wherever the customer has a ready embedded platform, or PC and needs to get an input from the contactless identification like RFID in a cost- effective and fast way. Device has communication and gets power supply via the USB port. On the software layer it uses the Virtual Com Port driver.
This solution offers extremely simple and fast implementation into any programming language on almost any operating system. Supported RFID standard is MIFARE Ultralight®, NTAG203, MIFARE Mini, MIFARE Classic® 1K, MIFARE Classic® 4K, FM11RF08. The device is equipped with a pair LEDs for power indication and RFID presence ID. It also contains acoustic signaling ID.
Working range is about 5 cm.
